Umeå Energi Arena in Gammlia will be the venue when Sweden's best Thai boxers gather to decide the Swedish Championships on March 12–14. It's Umeå Muay Thai IF that hosts this year's national championship in Muay Thai.
Registration for the competition closed on February 12 with a participation fee of 700 kronor. To compete, Swedish citizenship or permanent residence permit in Sweden for at least one year is required, and participants must be at least 18 years old in 2026.
Umeå Energi Arena is located in the Gammlia area, a short walk from central Umeå. For visitors, the arena is easily accessible – either a 20–25 minute walk from Vasaplan or a short bus ride of 6–8 minutes with lines 2, 5, or 7.
The Swedish Championships in Thai boxing is one of the year's major martial arts events in Sweden where the country's top fighters meet in different weight classes.
